Nick Hancock
A licensed General Contractor with a degree in construction management from East Carolina University, Nick has spent the last decade helping shape the solar landscape across the Southeast. He’s built over 6 gigawatts of solar projects and worked across more than ten different tracker and fixed-tilt systems. Nick is a systems guy at heart—he thrives on refining processes and making sure every component is dialed in. Off the clock, you’ll find him enjoying time with friends and family.

Tripp McSwain is a seasoned solar energy leader with over a decade of experience driving large-scale renewables and construction projects. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Tripp focuses on developing team members and building an environment where individuals can thrive. Outside of work, he’s a devoted father of two and an avid traveler, often spending time with his family exploring new places .

With over 16 years of experience in the renewable construction industry, Elizabeth brings a wealth of knowledge in project budgeting, estimation, and financial management. Her expertise ensures that CF Solar's financial operations run smoothly, supporting the company's commitment to delivering high-quality solar projects efficiently and effectively. Elizabeth's dedication to precision and her deep understanding of the industry's financial intricacies make her an invaluable asset to the team.

Jake London
With more than 20 years in the grading business, Jake brings unmatched field experience to solar site preparation across the eastern U.S. His background spans commercial construction, utility work, and large-scale energy projects, including extensive work in solar over the past several years. Known for his steady leadership and no-nonsense approach to safety, Jake takes pride in making sure every job is done right the first time. When he's not on site, he's usually fishing or riding his motorcycle through the mountains of western North Carolina.

Tripp Geddie
Tripp studied agricultural business at NC State before finding his stride in civil construction. For the past eight years, he’s specialized in utility-scale solar work, managing the full site scope from initial clearing through final grading and environmental compliance. Tripp’s broad experience and hands-on management style keep jobs moving forward and crews aligned. He understands how to balance the demands of large-scale builds with respect for the land they’re built on.

Rhett Bunce
Rhett graduated from NC State with a degree in civil engineering and has worked exclusively in solar ever since. He earned his PE license in 2019 and has used that technical expertise to support the engineering and construction of over 5 gigawatts of solar projects across the U.S. Whether he’s reviewing grading plans or walking a site, Rhett brings clarity and calm to complex scopes. He’s an avid baseball fan with a goal to visit every Major League stadium.

Robby Haywood
Robby got his start in solar right out of high school and hasn’t looked back. With over 5 gigawatts of project experience under his belt, he’s worked on some of the largest solar builds in the country, developing deep knowledge of tracker and fixed-tilt systems. Robby is OSHA 500 certified and brings a sharp eye for both safety and system integrity. His passion for renewable energy is matched only by his commitment to family—he spends most of his downtime with his wife and kids.wife and family.
